my driving instructor passed away yesterday. what? I'm still in shock. its so... sudden and... unexpected and... wtf?

it just saddens me so much that he wasn't even given the chance to celebrate chinese new year. not even for one day. he has a family..... sigh... others are happily celebrating this joyous event while his has to endure grief and mourn for his loss.
because of him I'm a legal driver, so thank you Mr Lawrence. I learnt a lot from you. I'm sorry the detox tea didn't help your sleeping habits, and I'm sorry I only knew this now. I'm sorry I didn't understand how much pain you were going through. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you at the hospital. it was nice knowing a very funny man like you. thank you so much for being my teacher :'( I'm sorry for being such a scaredy cat on the road. I'm sorry I let go of the steering because I panicked and we nearly crash into a tree. thank you for being so patient with me :'(

I miss his stories about his life as a young man studying in Germany, stories about his wife, his family, his other students. stories about our malaysian government, politics. also stories about his love life. and his compliments of me being very cool just because I told him I have no boyfriend hahaha sigh...
