Hi!

Much random rants of mine in this mini space I signed up for from 5 years ago.

In a nutshell, I'm a 22 year old japanesekoreanindonesianmalaysian singer-songwriter residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Other side adrenaline pumping activities include dance, theatre, live shows, photography, fashion, make up, beauty and of course, good food.

I also think I am addicted to coffee.

Serai Lanjut.
Wednesday, November 10

Not many know this but I was at Serai Lanjut last month to give support to the father for his staff team-building event (I still secretly believe it was also to keep my mind off things after what happened). It's a middle-class resort located in the heart of Pahang and in my opinion, it's doing better than our last visit despite the political caterwaul behind the scenes. Our favorite go-to person got assigned to another resort which just made me so woeful. He is the sweetest! Always smiling, always early, his services are top-notch. or maybe I'm a little biased because he treated us all like one of his own. In other words, we were very well-fed hehe.

He was there to welcome us when we arrived though, dad had called him over. The most vivid memory I have of this trip was the ride there. The long five hour ride. We took two cars due to limited space and I was mom's co-pilot. It was a huge mistake leaving the house at 3.30pm because when it reached dusk, we were already in the village area where the roads are just long and narrow and constricted and lengthy and there were absolutely zero street lights. I kid you not. What is the government doing? and people still wonder why there are brutal accidents happening on similar roads? We were surrounded with pitch blackness and the only light we could rely on was dad's car light in front of us. Then it started pouring cats and dogs. Then I saw this in the midst of the sky

It was ongoing for one solid hour, my heart started palpitating and at one point, I was ready to die. What's worse, I knew that my parents were having a hard time driving in that condition. There was no signal too so I couldn't tell JW and my best friends how much I love them before I die hahaha. I tried to overcome my trepidation then I realized, hey, you don't get to see this much in KL, might as well just enjoy it. It was beautiful - it was as if it took pride in its beauty but I couldn't help to think that the situation was exactly like those in a thriller movie. Hahaha okay I better stop here before my readers think I'm a real nutcase.

I've been to many beaches this year but I think I took advantage of it this time.

cause all I did was sleep in.

It's not like I was confined to the other activities, I was just not up to doing anything. The interesting things we did over the trip was driving to the nearest town to buy a cheap dvd player to finish the 2nd part of big bang theory, buy take away kfc, rode a buggy then buggy got stuck and dad was the hero (again), made a fool out of myself every time I saw a tiny crab at the beach, danced with the staffs after dinner, had huge bugs in our drinks during dinner, went to visit Tok Tam in Kuala Pilah and... that's pretty much it.

"Deanna Deanna look look something's moving!!!"

My grandma whom we all love to bits.

I think I was high. I think.

Parents (:

Beautiful shots taken by Sasha who is now snoring beside me after a long night of video-taking.
